AMASS Copenhagen Vodka with Marigold, Chamomile and Lemon Zest celebrates Nordic distilling tradition and the rich, vibrant history of Scandinavian drinking culture. Introducing an unconventional production method, botanicals are carefully distilled on an Aquavit still to create a heart with subtle layers of flowers folded around fresh, hand-grated citrus. Inspired by the city’s long summer evenings and longer winter nights, the result is a light, elegant spirit that pays tribute to Nordic drinking tradition, perfectly suited for a variety of cocktails and seasons.

With a Diploma of Engineering in Chemistry, Lasse Öznek has had a passion for spirits and distilling since the age of 16, when he distilled his first spirit in his mother’s kitchen. Lasse has served as the Master Distiller for Danish Spirit since 2017.

Founded in 2014, Danish Spirit distills in the heart of Copenhagen, just behind the historic Christianshavn neighborhood. Danish Spirit draws upon decades of Scandinavia's measured and considered working philosophies to elegantly execute traditional spirits. Like their innovative sister-distiller, Copenhagen Distillery, Danish Spirit is committed to sustainable practice and are 100% certified organic.

We set out to build a vodka that would reflect Scandinavian Aquavit history, respecting the traditions surrounding vodka, without feeling constrained by them. As a result of their long and demonstrated experience with Aquavit, Danish Spirit Distillery has perfected a method for capturing the essence of gentle botanicals, which was used to layer flowers and fresh hand grated lemon zest at the heart of the spirit. Danish Spirit Distillery sought to introduce as few botanicals to the vodka as possible, reflecting their design philosophy of extracting the maximum taste and flavor out of a minimum number of botanicals.
